About Filep Race Engineering

Native romanian, I have started and finished my mechanical engineering degree in Romania with 2 spells in Germany. At first, as a student at Technical University Munich and then I have got the opportunity to write my diploma thesis at Audi Sport, where I have been involved in the LMP project with main focus on measuring tire forces and simulation of vertical dynamics.

After graduation, I have started work in the automotive industry with Continental Automotive Systems and with Audi (for over 15 years now) as a vehicle dynamics test engineer and also started work in motorsport as a volunteer and then as a freelance engineer.

Filep Race Engineering is specialized on following areas:

• Engineering support at race/test events from race engineering to data and performance engineering
  
• Preparation of the events for both teams and drivers
  

• Post event data analysis
  

• Simulation with specialized software like ChassisSim and OptimumK
• ChassisSim Setup Service
